VBS 2020…The Foundation Has Been Laid

VBS 2020 did not end as planned but the decision made to end early was best for our children and volunteers. Thank you to all the 97 volunteers who joined the VBS Crew with their time and talents. As Pastor Mark mentioned Wednesday night, there were a lot of positives from the week … developing a sense of community, spreading the Gospel, children’s smiling faces, and some children accepting Christ or asking for more about our Lord and Savior. God is good!

During the week, one of the leader’s daily devotionals touched on Jesus instructing us to listen and obey His words…for you are wise. Thank you for listening to His call to spread the Gospel and make disciples. By listening to God’s call, FSBC was able to reach 61 children on Monday. 75 children on Tuesday, and 82 children on Wednesday. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please note that our time sharing the Good News is not over. I hope you will continue to serve whether it is AWANA, Children’s Ministry, Youth, Nursery, Ladies Legacy, Choir, Missions…wherever God directs your heart to love and spread the Good News.

Our next quarterly business meeting will be on Sunday, July 26 at 5 PM in the worship center.  Anyone is welcome to come, all members are encouraged to attend business meeting.
