We are excited to hang out with and serve our community on June 24th for Liberal Night Out! We need 6-7 people to help watch jumpies, 2-3 people to hand out water and visit with people, and a few people to help invite kids to VBS while we are there. The event lasts from 6-8:15 PM and we could also use a few people to help set up beforehand and tear down afterward! If you would be willing to serve, please let us know ASAP by calling the church office, signing up on the Church Center App, or clicking here to go to the registration page! https://fsbcliberal.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/1334111

Our Summer sermon series this year is, “He Really Said That?!” We’ll take a look at some of the shocking statements Jesus made during his ministry. Statements like:
- Anger = murder
- Being maimed > continuing to sin
- Unless you hate your family, you cannot be my disciple
These statements can be difficult to swallow in light of the kind, loving, Jesus that we prefer to envision. However, Jesus really said this and a lot more. Check us out Sunday at 11 am to get to the bottom of Jesus’ shocking statements!

FSBC Ladies’ Legacy
“FINDING JESUS IN everyday MOMENTS”
LAST CHANCE!
Ladies, our time to rewatch the simulcast speakers will expire on June 30. Several of us have already enjoyed listening to both Jen Wilkin and Kelly Minter again. We found that it was good to be reminded of the teaching we received on April 30.
This Sunday, June 26, we will first watch Jennifer Rothschild speak, and then we will watch Jackie Hill Perry, who wrapped up the simulcast day in such a dramatic way.
Jennifer Rothschild has an amazing life story. She lost her sight at age 15, and “has experienced firsthand how God’s companionship gives her comfort and confidence in every season of her life. Now more than 30 years later, as an author and speaker, she boldly and compassionately teaches women how to trust God in every season.” She is a wife and mother, and also a noted pianist and vocalist.
To finish the simulcast, Jackie Hill Perry summarized the subject of GRACE in a delightful and engaging way. She is a writer, poet, and artist, and has been featured in many publications. “Since becoming a Christian in 2008, she has been compelled to use her speaking and teaching gifts to share the light of the gospel of God as authentically as she can.” She is a wife and mother, including a baby boy born in January.
Please join us this Sunday, at 9:30 a.m. as we wrap up this short “rewatch series.” We will meet in the Fireside Room.
“You can find Me in each moment, when you have eyes that see and ears that hear. Ask My Spirit to sharpen your spiritual eyesight and hearing…Practice looking and listening for Me during quiet intervals. Gradually you will find Me in more and more of your moments…” –from Jesus Calling

Bill Koehn Mission Offering
Not only do we look forward to the Bill Koehn Mission Offering but also look forward to our summertime outreach events that are associated with this offering, and how God works through his workers who are reaching out into our community-being His hands and feet. We pray for the people we meet-that they would see the love of Christ, Him working in their lives, and accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
This offering also supports ministries on a year round basis such as Rick & Connie Edgier-home missionaries to South Central CO., Chad Clement-Mission OKC, reaching out to the inner city kids of Oklahoma City, OK., Cindy Lyddon-Grace Place Pregnancy Care Center, offering support from a godly perspective for unplanned pregnancies, and Lisa Batt-Oklahoma area wide coordinator for FCA.
Lisa Batt has been busy with girls volleyball camp here in Liberal, Cross Point Camp in Kingston OK. And more camps coming up such as a golf camp the 27-29 where 40 youth are expected to attend. Along with event training they will receive lunch and a Bible lesson. All for God’s glory, helping lead people to a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Our goal this year for the Bill Koehn offering is $2,000. Please prayerfully and sacrificially give to support our Bill Koehn Mission Offering and help reach out locally for Christ.
