Hey Church!!

In case you haven’t heard yet, we’re putting on an egg hunt for our community with 20,000 eggs!!! We’re calling it 20K Egg Day! Why? Because we want to serve our community and invite as many people to church on Easter Sunday as possible!

We have LOTS of invite cards available on the welcome desks at the church to hand out.

On Saturday, April 8th at 1pm at LHS’s practice football field we will scatter 20K eggs and have egg hunts for the following age groups: 0-3 years old, 4-7 years old, and 8-11 years old. We’ll have bounce houses for kids to play on as well. We’re praying that God will send hundreds and hundreds of families to participate in the egg hunt so we can personally invite them to worship with us on Easter Sunday during one of our two worship services – 9:30 or 11am.

If you have any questions about this event or would like to volunteer to serve, let us know! Please email Pastor Mark (
pastor@fsbcliberal) with your questions or to let us know where you want to serve. Here are the serving opportunities:
  • Registration (x3) – help guests register for the event on the day of, or answer general questions
  • Greeters (x5) – greet guests as they arrive. Smile and wave big! Be prepared to answer general questions
  • Field Generals (x12) – spread eggs across our three age ranges, man the ropes around each field to keep kiddos from jumping the gun, and be available to answer general questions
  • Bounce House attendants (x8-10) – Supervise bounce houses to ensure kid safety
  • General Inviters (as many as possible!) Talk to and personally invite as many people as possible to Easter Sunday at FSBC

“United: Called To Be One” Is this year’s theme for our Annie Armstrong Offering.

Reaching people for Christ in North America through the North American Mission Board (NAMB).

With this year’s goal of $2,000 we can read stories of how NAMB is using funds to reach places where people need to hear the words of Christ and given them the opportunity to respond, with “Yes Lord, here am I”.
           Matt & Amanda Hadden
   Porcupine, South Dakota

When Matt went to the Pine Ridge Reservation, home of the Oglala Lakota tribe, for a short-term, construction mission trip, his plan to be an international missionary changed.

“I looked around and saw tremendous need,” says Matt. “I could hear people speaking a different language. I had entered a different culture and was in the middle of a different people group right here in my own country. These people had been forgotten and I knew God was calling me here.”

Pine Ridge is one of the largest reservations in the United States and among the poorest. Matt and Amanda lead the Čhaŋkú Wašté Ranch, a ministry center on the reservation.

Their three-lane approach is through a summer kids camp, providing free home repair and offering medical services through a newly opened clinic.

“I have read that less than 3% of Oglala Lakota people claim to know the Lord,” says Matt. “Our goal is to change that statistic and help them experience the hope of a restored life in every aspect.”

Prayer Requests
Wisdom to meet the many needs of the Oglala Lakota people.
Continued favor and partnerships with tribal leaders.
Growth and support for wellness and construction ministries.
