December 3, 2020 Newsletter

Worship with us this December with a brand new sermon series called, “Christmas Isn’t Cancelled!”  Each week we’ll discuss an aspect of Christmas that cannot be taken away regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in.  Can’t wait to see you there!!
Please bring your wrapped gift with the tag on it from the Christmas tree.  Put your gifts in the fireside room so they can get ready to go to the Cottonwood School kids for Christmas.
If you have not picked up a tag from the tree yet, we still have some tags that need picked up and to get gifts purchased for these kids.  Come by the Christmas tree in the welcome center and pick up a tag.   Please have ALL GIFTS back to the church by Friday, December 11th.
     Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially.
This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. It is a valuable part of Southern Baptists’ 175-year history of reaching the nations with the gospel and vital to reaching the vision of a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshipping our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:9).
Our goal this year is $2,000 in support of those serving around the world through the International Mission Board (IMB). Help us to reach our goal by using the special envelopes or by giving online through our FSBC website.

Merry Christmas Church Family!  For the last few years we have purchased advent devotionals to help you and your family prepare your hearts for Christmas. This year we are doing things a bit differently (pretty normal for 2020). You can download the devotional by clicking on this link, or by scanning the QR code! If you would prefer a physical copy, please contact the church office, and we can print you one. We hope this devotional will be a blessing to you this season! The devotional is 30 days long, so if you want to read one entry a day, please start reading on November 26th to end on Christmas Day! God Bless!
FSBC is excited that God led us to start a Broadcasting ministry many years ago. As we entered into this crazy year, the fact that we were already set up to livestream and record our services was a blessing.  The equipment that we use for this ministry is beginning to wear out and we are in the process of replacing it. Would you be willing to prayerfully consider helping us purchase the new equipment to keep this ministry running smoothly? Click on the link below to hear from Gary Classen the head of our Tech Team for more information!
You can scan the QR code and sign up for the Wednesday Night Supper on December 9th.
