“United: Called To Be One” Is this year’s theme for our Annie Armstrong Offering.
Reaching people for Christ in North America through the North American Mission Board (NAMB).
With this year’s goal of $2,000 we can read stories of how NAMB is using funds to reach places where people need to hear the words of Christ and given them the opportunity to respond, with “Yes Lord, here am I”.

Emanuel & Ioana Grozea: For All Nations
Ridgewood, New York
Emanuel Grozea was born in communist Romania to a family of smugglers—Bible smugglers. As a teenager, Emanuel felt God calling him into ministry. He pastored for almost a decade in Romania before God moved him and his family to lead a Romanian Baptist church on the verge of closing in New York City. In the Ridgewood community, about half of the neighborhood speaks a language other than English and once was heavily populated with Romanian immigrants.
“God gave us a burden—a vision for what it needs to be in our generation. Our vision is to replant and transition this church from a struggling Romanian church to a House of Worship for all nations,” says Emanuel.
Leading the Maranatha Baptist Church congregation through such a radical change has been challenging. But now, the church is reaching and welcoming Albanian, Nepali, Polish, Latino, Egyptian, Italian, Turkish, and Armenian neighbors, along with Romanians. The language groups meet individually for Sunday school and then come together for corporate worship to joyfully worship as one.
Prayer Requests
Faithfulness in sharing the gospel to all nations in the community.
Maranatha to plant three new churches by 2030.
More supporting churches to partner with Maranatha in prayer and serving.

Hey Church!!
In case you haven’t heard yet, we’re putting on an egg hunt for our community with 20,000 eggs!!! We’re calling it 20K Egg Day! Why? Because we want to serve our community and invite as many people to church on Easter Sunday as possible!
On Saturday, April 8th at 1pm at LHS’s practice football field we will scatter 20K eggs and have egg hunts for the following age groups: 0-3 years old, 4-7 years old, and 8-11 years old. We’ll have bounce houses for kids to play on as well. We’re praying that God will send hundreds and hundreds of families to participate in the egg hunt so we can personally invite them to worship with us on Easter Sunday during one of our two worship services – 9:30 or 11am.
If you have any questions about this event or would like to volunteer to serve, let us know! Please email Pastor Mark (pastor@fsbcliberal) with your questions or to let us know where you want to serve. Here are the serving opportunities:
- Registration (x3) – help guests register for the event on the day of, or answer general questions
- Greeters (x5) – greet guests as they arrive. Smile and wave big! Be prepared to answer general questions
- Field Generals (x12) – spread eggs across our three age ranges, man the ropes around each field to keep kiddos from jumping the gun, and be available to answer general questions
- Bounce House attendants (x8-10) – Supervise bounce houses to ensure kid safety
- General Inviters (as many as possible!) Talk to and personally invite as many people as possible to Easter Sunday at FSBC

Chuck Neece KNCSB director, Disaster Relief
Dear Disaster Relief Volunteers,
On April 14/15 we will have a work day at Webster Conference Center in Salina.
Group One will be a chainsaw group cleaning up storm damage from last fall and this winter. You may come on Friday evening and stay in the dorm for a full day of work on Saturday. Scott Ferguson will be overseeing the cleanup of trails and vespers area. Bring your saw and skills, we will have equipment available as well. We need pullers and stackers, so not everyone needs to be an operator.
Group Two will be inventorying the cooking equipment and making sure we can respond as a mass feeding unit. If you have skills in maintenance and propane or electricity, we need your skills. Please let us know if you can attend! Jim Fergison and Gayle Edmiston are anxious to develop our crews to respond for mass feeding.
Saturday morning breakfast and Saturday lunch will be provided. I need head count for dorms and meals. Please let me know of your ability to attend.
