Ladies’ Legacy Night “Flavors of the Holidays”
You are invited!
With the holidays come meals with family and friends, often in our homes. You are invited to a Ladies’ Legacy evening, Thursday, November 11, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall, for a fun evening of tasting delicious foods, participating in the preparation, and getting ideas for your holiday cooking and baking. During the evening, among other activities, we will learn how to use an instant pot for making meals. We hope you will be able to JOIN US for a delightful evening together.

The Angel Breakfast is this Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 am to 11 am. Children’s Ministry looks forward to beginning the holiday season with our church family with breakfast, the Christmas Story and crafts.

Fall Teaching Series!!
Join us as we continue our fall teaching series: Holy Ghost Stories, Astonishing Tales From the Book of Acts! This series will take us through 13 different accounts of the Holy Spirit leading the early church of Jesus Christ. This is such an exciting teaching series because the same Holy Spirit that equipped the early church to serve, love, and impact their world for Jesus is the same Holy Spirit who is at work in us today! Don’t miss it! Be sure to bring a friend along!

Hey Church –
You’ve probably already heard that there are some changes coming regarding the staffing of our Kids Ministry. In the event that you haven’t heard, both Norma Jean Dodge, our Children’s Coordinator, and Nique Brown, our Nursery Coordinator, have prayerfully decided to step down from their respective positions effective December 31 this year. We’re incredibly grateful for their years of service and for the healthy way in which both ladies are pursuing this change! If you have any questions or concerns regarding the transition of Norma Jean or Nique, please take the time to seek these ladies out and talk to them directly.
As we look towards the future of our Kid’s Ministry here at First Southern Baptist Church, we will be pursuing a single, full time position for the role of Kid’s Coordinator (this position will include oversight of kids, birth – 5th grade).
