This week's sermon explored one of the most unusual marriage proposals in all of Scripture - Ruth's midnight encounter with Boaz on the threshing floor. Through this seemingly strange story, we discovered how God works through our choices, even risky ones, to accomplish His perfect will for our lives. What appeared to be an audacious plan orchestrated by Naomi was actually God's veiled providence at work, bringing together a good woman and a good man in a way that would ultimately lead to the lineage of Jesus Christ himself.
