This week, we wrapped up our seven-week series through the book of Ruth by exploring how God accomplishes His purposes through the ordinary events of life. What began with famine, death, and emptiness ended with marriage, birth, and a surprising genealogy that points directly to Jesus Christ. We discovered that Ruth and Boaz had no idea they were part of God's grand plan to bring the Savior into the world—they were simply taking faithful steps in obedience. The sermon reminded us that God is always working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail of our lives, even when we can't see miracles happening around us. The book ends not with "happily ever after" but with a genealogy that shows us the true hero of the story: God Himself, who was preparing the way for Jesus, our ultimate Kinsman Redeemer.
