Graduate Recognition Sunday & Mother's Day

The sermon explored how a young teenage girl named Mary responded when an angel brought her overwhelming news: she would become the mother of God's Son. At just 13 or 14 years old, Mary faced potential disgrace, abandonment, and even death by stoning. Yet her response teaches us profound lessons about handling life's overwhelming moments. We learned that feeling overwhelmed often comes right before God is about to bless us, and that the solution isn't to grip tighter but to surrender control. Mary's story reminds us that God's plan is often bigger, sometimes more painful, but always better than our own plans.
