Palm Sunday
This sermon explored the full reality of what it means to welcome Jesus into our lives. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week—the most important week in human history—when Jesus rode into Jerusalem to fulfill His life's mission: He was born to die. The crowd gave Him a rock star entrance, laying down palm branches and shouting praises. But the very next day, Jesus went to the temple and cleaned it out, confronting the corruption and superficiality that had taken root in God's house. This reveals a powerful truth: It's easy to celebrate the Jesus who rides in on a donkey—the Jesus who heals, provides, and comforts us. But are we ready for the Jesus who enters the temple of our hearts and demands real change? The sermon challenged us to embrace not just Jesus as Forgiver, but also Jesus as Leader—the One who speaks into every area of our lives, from our finances and relationships to our work ethic and compassion for the marginalized.
