The Voice in the Wilderness

The sermon explored the opening of Matthew 3 and the ministry of John the Baptist, whose voice rang out in the wilderness with a message of repentance and preparation. Just as John called the people of his day to examine their hearts and turn toward God, his message challenges us today to move beyond religious appearances and pursue genuine, fruit-bearing faith. We were reminded that God often does His greatest work not in seasons of comfort and abundance, but in the dry and unexpected places of life -- and that our ultimate calling is not to build our own kingdoms, but to point others to Jesus Christ.
