Born for a Purpose

The sermon launched a new six-week series on the life of John the Baptist—a man who could not be silenced. Drawing from Luke chapter 1, we explored how God established John's purpose before he was ever born, through the story of an aging, childless couple named Zechariah and Elizabeth. Their story challenges us to reconsider how we measure God's faithfulness and reminds us that our circumstances, disappointments, and seasons of waiting do not limit what God is able to do. Just as God was at work behind the scenes long before John ever preached a single sermon, He is at work in our lives even when we cannot see it or feel it.
