Running with God

This week's sermon explored how real life change begins when God calls us to do something - and how we respond to that call. Using the story of Jonah, we examined God's sovereign will, His permissive will (the freedom He gives us to choose), and His moral will (the guidance He provides through Scripture). The message challenged us to recognize that we can't truly run from God, and that going against His leadership doesn't keep us in neutral territory - it guarantees our lives will get worse. God loves us too much to let us go our own way, and He's not in the happiness business; He's in the soul-making business.
