The Great Intervention

The sermon explored one of the most familiar yet misunderstood stories in Scripture—Jonah and the whale. Rather than viewing the fish as punishment, we discovered it was actually God's intervention of grace, designed to save Jonah from drowning and awaken him to where his life was heading. This challenges us to reconsider the difficult seasons we face: What if the "belly of the whale" moments in our lives aren't punishments, but severe mercies meant to turn us around? The implications for our spiritual life are profound—sometimes God's grace comes in ways we would never expect, and the storms we're weathering may be the very thing keeping us alive long enough to repent and return to His will.
