Grace After Failure
Mar 22, 2026 • Andrew Puett
The sermon explored Peter's devastating denial of Christ and his beautiful restoration by Jesus, revealing how God redeems our failures and uses them to shape us into the people He's called us to be. Through Peter's story, we discovered that it's not our initial failure that ruins us—it's what happens next that matters. Jesus didn't abandon Peter in his shame; instead, He pursued him, challenged him, and reinstated him for greater service. This has powerful implications for our spiritual life: when we fail (and we all do), we don't have to remain in that place of defeat. Christ offers us the same grace He extended to Peter—meeting us in our brokenness, asking us the hard questions, and inviting us back into relationship and purpose.
