Shine Like Stars in a Dark World

This week we explored Philippians 2:12-18, where the Apostle Paul challenges us to understand the beautiful partnership between God's work in us and our work in the world. The sermon addressed a crucial truth: growing to look like Jesus isn't about doing everything on our own strength, nor is it about being completely passive. Instead, it's a divine partnership where God's almighty power works within us, enabling us to work out what He has already done. Paul reminds us that we live in a dark, crooked world—but that's precisely where we're called to shine like stars, holding firmly to the Word of Life and living with radical gratitude instead of grumbling and complaining.
